Day 1: Muscat

On arrival at Muscat International Airport, you will be met by our professional local representative and transferred to your hotel.

Day 2: Muscat – City Tour

After enjoying your sumptuous breakfast, enjoy a morning tour of this modern commercial city existing in harmony with its traditional culture. Muscat means "Anchorage" due to its harbor and lies in a natural volcanic bowl. Tour the Grand Mosque (except Friday) & Bait Al Zubair Museum (except Friday) and learn about Oman's history and development. Drive along the waterfront Corniche, visiting the Fish Market & the colourful Muttrah Souq. Photo stop at the magnificent Al Alam Palace, official palace of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos flanked by the 16th century Portugese forts Mirani & Jalali. (Dress code: Ladies fully covered and to carry a head scarf, men in trousers). Overnight at the hotel.

Day 3: Muscat – Dive Experience

After your breakfast, proceed to Extra Diver Qantab-dive centre of Shangri la Hotel in Shangri la Marina to enjoy 2 dives with tanks and weights. The daily dive schedule is around 08:15 – 12:30. Return to your hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 4: Muscat – Dolphin Watch & Snorkeling - Nizwa

After your breakfast, enjoy a dolphin watching and snorkeling trip early in the morning. In the afternoon, drive to Nizwa. Overnight at the Hotel of your choice.

Day 5: Nizwa – Wahabi Sands – 1000 Night Camp

After your sumptuous breakfast, visit the imposing Roundtower Fort. Shop for intricately hand-crafted silver jewellery and khanjars at the neighboring Souk. Proceed towards Izki and Sinaw. Turn off the main road to the scenic Wadi Bani Khalid with its deep blue pools of water fringed by the date palms. Drive to the Wahiba Sands consisting of undulating sand dunes of different hues. Enjoy the spectacle of the sun setting over the dunes. Dinner and overnight stay in Bedouin tents at The 1000 Night Camp.

Day 6: 1000 Night Camp - Muscat

After your breakfast at the campsite, drive to Sur, a seafaring town to visit the dhow factory and the Sineslah fort before taking the highway for Muscat. Photo stop at Bibi Miriam's tomb and the Bimah Sinkhole. Explore the beautiful Wadi Arbayeen which can only be accessed after an exciting drive through the mountains. Proceed to Muscat via Quriyat and drop off at Muscat Airport to catch your flight back home with happy memories of your journey to Oman.
