Day 1: Ljubljana (Evening City Tour by Tourist Train)

Arrive at Ljubljana Airport and transfer to your hotel. Take a tour through the beautiful capital of Slovenia. The old city centre has a mixture of Baroque and Art Nouveau masterful creations by the 20th century architect Joze Plecnik. You will see the major sights and finish your tour with a tourist train ride up to Ljubljana Castle, which departs from Krekov trg Square. Overnight.

Day 2: Ljubljana – Lake Bled

Breakfast. Check-out and transfer by car with English speaking driver to Lake Bled. Arrive and check-in. Rest of the day free.

Day 3: Lake Bled (Excursion to Pletna + Postojna Cave)

Breakfast. Enjoy a guided orientation tour of Lake Bled and its surroundings, followed by an excursion to Postojna Caves. Take the “pletnas” traditional wooden boats which will take you across the Lake Bled to the island situated in the centre. Visit St. Mary Church situated on the islet and Bled Castle. Lunch at a local restaurant. At the Postojna Cave, you will be dazzled by the many calcite formations, stalactites and stalagmites in a variety of shapes, colours and age. Return to Lake Bled for overnight stay.

Day 4: Lake Bled – Ljubljana

Breakfast. Check-out and transfer by car to Ljubljana train station or airport.
