Day 1: Palermo

Arrive and transfer to Hotel Mercure Palermo Centro or similar. Rest of the evening is at leisure Overnight.

Day 2: Palermo & Monreale

After breakfast, depart on a visit to Monreale and visit the Cathedral as well as the Benedictine cloister. Continue to Palermo and visit the Sicilian capital. You have some time to explore and to enjoy lunch on your own. Evening free. Overnight.

Day 3: Palermo-Segesta - Erice - Marsala - Palermo

After breakfast, depart for Segesta and visit the Doric Temple. Continue to Erice and visit the medieval village. Lunch is on your own. Continue to Marsala to enjoy wine tasting in a local cellar. Later, return to Palermo. Overnight.

Day 4: Palermo - Cefalu - Palermo

After breakfast, depart for Cefalù. Visit the Norman Cathedral. Enjoy some free time in Cefalù to explore. Lunch on your own. Return to Palermo. Overnight

Day 5: Palermo - Agrigento - Piazzaarmerina - Taormina

After breakfast, depart for Agrigento. Visit the Valley of the Temples. Proceed to Piazza Armerina, where you visit the Roman Villa del Casale with its wonderful well preserved mosaics. Lunch on your own. Proceed to Taormina. Arrive in the evening and check in at Grand Hotel Timeo or similar. Overnight.

Day 6: Taormina - Siracusa - Taormina

After breakfast, depart for Siracusa. Visit the archaeological area, as well as the historical centre in Ortigia. Lunch on your own. Return to hotel. Evening free. Overnight.

Day 7: Taormina - Etna -Taormina

After breakfast, depart for Mount Etna and climb up to a height of 1800 meters to visit the Sylvester Craters. Lunch on your own. Return to hotel. Overnight.

Day 8: Taormina - Catania - Valletta, Malta

After breakfast, check out of hotel. Enjoy a day at leisure. In the evening, you will be transferred to Catania Port to board your ferry to Valletta, Malta. Depart at 2000 hrs and arrive Valletta at 2300 hrs. On arrival, you will be met and assisted at the pier by our local representative and transferred to Hotel Hilton or similar. Overnight.

Day 9: Valletta

Breakfast. Morning at leisure. In the afternoon, proceed on a half day tour of Valletta, visiting St John’s Co- Cathedral and the Grandmaster’s Palace. Lunch on your own. Return to hotel. Spend the evening on your own exploring quaint Valletta. Enjoy dinner at a local taverna on your own. Overnight.

Day 10: Valletta

Breakfast. Depart at 0900 hrs on a half day tour of Mdina, Craft Village and Dingli Cliffs. You visit Mdina Cathedral and Palazzo Falzon. Lunch on own. Return to the hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure to shop for local specialities. Overnight.

Day 11: Valletta

After an early breakfast, check out of hotel and depart at 0900 hrs on a half day tour of Hagar Qim Temple and a boat ride to the Blue Grotto. Transfer to the airport.
