Day 1: Bordeaux – Chateau Route in the Medoc

Bordeaux is a port city on the Garonne River in southwest France. It is also the world's major wine industry capital. Arrive and check in to your hotel on your own. Enjoy a half day tour along the Chateau Route and visit a famous vineyard for a wine tasting session. Admire the lowlands of the Medoc. First, enjoy a visit and wine tasting in a prestigious classified growth chateau of the Medoc. Then follow the castle road to see some of the most famous chateaus such as Margaux, Palmer or Beychevelle. Finally, experience a wine tasting session in "La Winery" set in the heart of a 26 hectare park. This is a unique, avant-garde architectural complex that offers a more accessible and personalized approach to the world of wine. Overnight in Bordeaux.

Day 2: Bordeaux – St Emilion Wine Tasting Excursion

After breakfast, spend the day exploring the city on your own or enjoy a full day excursion to Saint Emilion, one of the world's most famous vineyard regions, which is also listed as a UNESCO world heritage site. Begin with a visit to a prestigious estate in Saint-Emilion Chateau Angelus or Chateau Bel Air, where you will enjoy a guided cellar tour and wine tasting. Continue on to Chateau Haut-Sarpe, for a guided cellar tour, followed by a 'wine grower's lunch' at the grape pickers quarters. End with a visit to the medieval town of Saint-Emilion, and enjoy free time to explore the village and its underground monuments, before returning to Bordeaux. Overnight.

After breakfast, check out of your hotel. You can choose to extend your stay in Bordeaux or explore other cities of France.
