Day 1: Vienna

Welcome to the Austrian capital! Arrive and check in at your hotel. In the afternoon, visit the magnificent sights of Vienna and the magnificent Schönbrunn Palace. Overnight.

Day 2: Vienna - Salzburg

After breakfast, proceed by train to Salzburg. Arrive and check into your hotel. Spend the rest of the day exploring Salzburg. This evening dine at Restaurant Sankt Peterstiftskeller and enjoy a Mozart Concert. Overnight.

Day 3: Salzburg

After breakfast, spend the morning strolling around the enchanting city. In the afternoon, enjoy a Mozart City Tour during which you will see the highlights of Salzburg including the Mirabell Palace, the University of Music, the Hellbrunn Palace and a number of other sights which will give you an insight to what this city has to offer. Overnight in Salzburg.

Day 4: Salzburg - Zell Am See

After breakfast, take a train to Zell Am See (1 hour 35 minutes). It is a most picturesque alpine town set by a crystal clear mountain lake, surrounded by mighty mountains & gently rolling hills. You have three nights to explore this lovely town. Visit the Parish Church, St. Hippolyt, and the town's museum at the Kastnerturm tower. You can even enjoy a round of golf, take relaxing hiking tours to the local mountains or go for a refreshing swim in Lake Zell. Overnight.

Day 5: Excursion to Schmittenhöhe

After breakfast, take a cable car to the mountain high above the village of Zell Am See. It offers walking, hiking trails and paragliding. In winter, it is a skier’s paradise. There is also a chapel for the Austrian empress Sissi, a mountain hotel and various restaurants. Overnight.

Day 6: Zell am See - St.Gilgen

After breakfast, take a train to St.Gilgen. Explore this quaint little picturesque village. There are a number of shops, cafes, restaurants and hotels situated around the lakeside, see Uferplatz and the two squares, Mozartplatz by the town hall & Kirchenplatz by the church. Mozart’s mother was born in St. Gilgen. Overnight.

Day 7: St. Gilgen

Breakfast. Take a 15 minute cable gondola ride to Zwölferhorn Seilbahn a popular ski resort area. The Valley Station is just outside St. Gilgen.. There are several villages around the lake - the main ones being St. Wolfgan in Salzkammergut and the Strobl am Wolfgangsee. Overnight.

Day 8: St. Gilgen - Salzburg

After breakfast, depart for Salzburg.
